Zilco Airlite Blinkers Hood - Mesh Cup

A blinker race hood is used to force the horse to focus on what's straight ahead and less on the peripheral view. Depending on the cup type the field of view is limited in various grades. Made from a lightweight and well ventilated mesh material providing great airflow.

This model has, additional to the half cup, a metal mesh protecting from flying debris. In addition the mesh has a calming effect on the horse. The mesh is sewn to the hood with the cup being laced on which allows for easy removal or adjustment. The hood is fastened and secured with clips and elastic straps under the head.
